The SAM440EP-FLEX is the latest hardware capable of running the new AmigaOS 4.1.
Standard configuration motherboard configuration: Â PowerPC 440EP CPU running at 733Mhz (option) with new Uboot 1.3.1a firmware, 2x 100-pin DDR DIMM slots, max 1 GB RAM, 1x 66Mhz PCI slot plus 2x 33Mhz PCI slots, 4x SATA ports, 2x integrated Ethernet 10/100 ports, USB 2.0 OHCI/EHCI NEC PCI controller (2 external ports, 2 internal ports), Audio Cirrus Logic CS4281 and Realtek ALC655 Codec and battery-backed Real Time Clock.
The OS4.1 license and package cost is added to the motherboard cost when you place this item in your cart or you can add a suitable 500GB hard disk pre-installed with Amiga OS 4.1. We can supply the SAM Flex board with up to 1024MB (1 GB) of memory (see below for options). A suitable DVDRW can be found here. A suitable wireless network card can be found here.
The SAM Flex board is FlexATX Form Factor with dimensions of 21.6 cm by 17 cm. Supplied with custom backplate. OS 4.1 is supplied OEM licensed with newly released Update 2 available for download.
