44-pin IDE Cable Coupler / Joiner / Gender Changer
This adapter is used to join two 44-way IDE ribbon cables together (refer to images). The cables must have female plugs into the male sockets on the coupler adapter.
Once the cables are joined with this coupler, they will work as one longer cable.
Each male socket is shrouded to ensure that both cables remain securely attached when joined. Additionally the sockets are keyed with notch to assist with the orientation of each connected cable.
